Get away from it all. Venture through coffee plantations, pristine tropical forests and steep mountain passes to Mâ’nong, an ethnic minority village.
Next, on to Lak Lake for the afternoon. Take a kayak to the other side of the lake for a two hour walking tour around the village to see their daily activities. Return by kayak and spend the night in a long house.
Day 2:
After a morning of sightseeing in Lak Lake, head to Buon Me Thuot for lunch. Enjoy the Central Highlands local specialty for your mid-day meal, and then have a swim at Draysap Waterfall.
Time permitting, elephant riding or trekking is available in Yok Don National Park. Overnight in Buon Me Thuot or spend the night at Virgin Waterfall.
Day 3:
Drive through a pepper farm and a rubber plantation to Pleiku, famous for its volcanic crater lake and the old battlefields. Arrive in KomTum by 4:30 pm.
Day 4:
A half-day of sightseeing in KomTum .
See the Wooden Church, the Cave Church, the Orphanage,the Bana Village, including the Rong house, the Iron Suspension bridge and the Museum.
Refresh your memory of the Viet Nam war by visiting KomTum prison. Along the Ho Chi Minh trail the spectacular mountain views are ideal for photos . Lunch at a local restaurant on the Cambodia frontier.Spend the night in the town of Kham Duc .
Day 5:
This is the last day on the Ho Chi Minh trail, an easy downhill ride through the jungle and the mountains to the coast.
On the way, stop at a small waterfall, see rice paddies and visit historic Cham tower continue on with our van to Hoi An. End the trip by 3 pm..
